In 2001 I bought a 1967 Austin Healey 3000 and repatriated it from the USA to Scotland and have spent the past several years slowly restoring it- and the end still is not in sight! In 2006 I bought a 1972 Jensen-Healey Mk I. Since then I've done a little repair work on it, and will be upgrading the suspension and engine. And early in 2008 I acquired a 1962 Rochdale Olympic. So I have a nice little collection of some of the most unusual and innovative British sportscars. This site tells the stories of these cars and provides information (through pages accessed via the menu bar above, or clicking on the highlighted names below) on:

Journal - What's happening now, what progress has been accomplished, and the story of the past few years. This also includes a discussion of the import process and regulations for the UK.

The Cars:

Big Healey: Buyer's Guide - What to look (out) for in a Big Healey, including where they can be found, importing a car, and automotive e-baying. Big Healey Restoration - discussing the work I've done in rebuilding and upgrading my Austin Healey, with technical data.  History - Heritage Certificates and the little that's known of my car's history.

Jensen-Healey: Upgrading - describes the work done in improving and keeping my Jensen-Healey on the road. Articles - describes the work done in improving and keeping my Jensen-Healey on the road. History - describes my car's past- It was one of the very few Company Cars....

Rochdale:  Articles - describes the work done in improving and keeping my Jensen-Healey on the road. Promotional - describes the work done in improving and keeping my Jensen-Healey on the road. History - describes what I've learned of my car's past. Improvements - what I've done to make it even better....

Workshop & Tools - the Garage built to house my restoration and what's in it, with an overview of hand tools, welding, special Healey tools, bodywork tools, materials handing and air tools. And no site for Healeys & Jensens is complete without rust removal and prevention. And once they're together they'll need tune up tools and the technical data to keep them running.

Links - to practically everything: Books - on Healeys and restoration; some of my own Photos, professional Art and in Music and Movies, and some Healey Computer stuff, Models & Replicas; and User Web Sites. Vendors - the main UK suppliers of Healey parts, and generalist suppliers of other, useful components. Clubs - Healey Clubs, with my local one's Social Events; links to useful owner's Websites. Technical Links - 374 technically-oriented sites useful for restoring and running a car. Sorted both alphabetically & by topic. NOTE: these concentrate on the Austin Healey, the site pages concerned with the Jensen Healey and Olympic have their own sections devoted to books, vendors and clubs.
