Healey Journal

This is a brief overview of the artwork available that depicts Austin Healeys,. The Healey is a very attractive car and a number of artists have chosen to depict it in drawings, paintings and various other media. This section provides "thumbnail" representations of the art and a link to the artist's or vendor's site. These are meant to give an idea of what is available from the artists themselves and to encourage you to make direct contact with them. These images also have their creator's web address superimposed. I encourage anyone interested in what they see here to go to the originals for a better impression- and each thumbnail links to the artist's or seller's website. Since creating this section I've found some of the sites are not now accessible- but they're included anyway, and I hope they reappear in the future.

NOTE: these images all suffer from being downsized into "thumbnails" to minimize storage and speed page loading. The sharpness of the images is much poorer and the color rendition inaccurate (and the original artists may cringe at the result). Note too that all images are shown roughly the same size (as a means of trying to be "fair" to each artist's presentation) though the originals differ in their sizes. Please visit the artist's/vendor's sites to better see the size and quality of their work.

The 3000 blueprint was recovered using Wayback and clicking on that image will link to the old site. The new site (accessed by clicking on the Bugeye image) now seems devoted entirely to Ferrari materials, and I've no idea whether they still support their earlier, more general interests in automotive blueprints.
