The Jensen-Healey has appeared in a number of articles and a few books since it was introduced. Most of the early articles commented on its good performance and handling but that soon gave way to more critical ones that recognized the various problems Jensen had, particularly with the engine (often noting that the engine was by designed by Lotus but its development was by the customers) and the exceedingly poor rust proofing.  These issues help explain the relative scarcity of the car- the engine problems and rot killed off many of the earlier cars and undermined the market for the much improved later ones. The Jensen-Healey is thus a "rare delight" as one later reviewer put it. The survivors are either projects in need of great attention, or lovingly preserved and well maintained. Mine was a well-kept original- the body was, with a couple of exceptions in good condition though the engine had worn.

This is as comprehensive list as I have been able to develop. I continue to find "new" old items irregularly; and will add them as appropriate, and I watch the current issues of popular magazines for any articles.

Late June, 2008 I'm sitting in the living room watching rubbish TV when I see a familiar shape flash by ... it's a Jensen-Healey. On TV. In a commercial. With two lovely young ladies. That's something (the Jensen-Healey, not the two young ladies) I never expected to see. I finally managed to record it, a 30 second ad for Shape Yogurt:
