The range and volume of material available on the web is incredible. The main difficulty is finding what is needed, for there is no one site that brings it all together in a comprehensive and organized way. I hope to do some of that here, at least initially. This represents the bringing together of the past four years or so of web surfing, with scattered bits and pieces of information set aside for later use- this then brings all that into a single accessible and somewhat organized body instead of a mass of odd scraps of paper and higgledy-piggledy data files of site references. This section will be updated, and I intend over the next several months to add annotations to each of the sites briefly describing it.

The general websites are largely covered on the websites and clubs pages here. This listing refers to the appropriate technical pages on those sites and many, many others too (and aims eventually to acquire material for posting here). Where appropriate, references to other pages on this site are provided.

The vast number of sites can make it difficult to find specific information. I've tried to make that easier by arranging the listings by subject area- this listing arranges the technically oriented web sites in categories that reflect the type of issue or problem addressed. Thus a site concerned with "Aluminium Welding" is listed under welding. Note too that I've tried to considered subjects that might fall into two categories. Thus a site concerned with "Overdrive Relay Faults" might be listed under both electrical and overdrive subject headings. As of mid-June, 2005 there are links to some 460 web pages, some are duplicated in multiple categories, but there is still an enormous amount of information available here. Duplicated pages should be readily recognized using the title, website location and author information.
