Although this section is devoted to photographs of Healeys you'll find virtually none here and these few are all my own. Other photographs are not shown- there are potentially thousands of those that may be seen on various websites. This site's clubs page notes a number that have owners galleries (some are listed below) with photos, and the websites page lists a handful of slide shows displaying sequences of photos taken during restorations.

I've included a handful of my own photos in a gallery here, none of these are of my own car which is in no fit state for public display except perhaps as a bad example....

Photo Gallery:

May 2003, on a Highland road. A friend's Healey zooming off towards the horizon.

May 2004, On the Isle of Skye near Floodigarry, overlooking a bay.

May 2004, On the Isle of Skye, overlooking another bay.

Other Galleries

Other Photos may also be seen at the Austin Healey USA Club's site, these include historic photos (in the section on past Calendars for 2005, 2004, 2003, 2002, 2001 and 2000), and more artistic efforts (in the section on Photo Contest winners for 2004, 2003 2002, 2001, and 2000, and also for the earlier calendars for 1999 and 1998) as well as a gallery of member's cars organized by year and type. The Big Healey site also provides a gallery of owner's cars, as well as a useful facility for interactively showing the different exterior/interior color combinations available in each year. Some of the other clubs also have galleries of their members' cars and a few that do are noted on the clubs page on this site. Some individuals and businesses also have galleries showing their own cars and showing the work done on them, a few of these may be seen on the other websites page under the headings of personal websites and slide shows.

My own artistic efforts with colorized and cropped views of photographs I'd taken. My artistic skills consist primarily of scribbling outside the lines in my coloring books when young. Things haven't improved any in the intervening years.

colorized photo of a Healey with fog descending on it

A Healey in the highlands- on the crest of a hill with lowering clouds/fog descending. The original photo was taken on the move and was slightly off-focus so this attempt to make a silk purse from a sow's ear isn't half bad.

colorized photo of a Healey on a Highland road, driving towards a pass

A photo shot "blind" over the windscreen whilst being rattled about. In focus, properly exposed and good depth of field. It needed cropping to remove some of the windshield frame and create the proper sense of movement and ambience. A much better picture than I had any right to expect. This too has been "colorized", but the original may be seen above.
