This is a brief overview of the toy models and replicas that are available. A Healey can be acquired quickly, cheaply and with little fear of rust and with minimal financial risk. The only drawback is that you'll never fit into it. Yes, miniature versions of that pile of parts out in the garage are available. Some of these are new, but I've found most are older items re-sold by collectors. A good look at e-bay, with a search in their "Toy" section using "Healey" will usually turn up a few pint-sized big Healeys. Some are true, built it yourself model kits but most seem to be replicas- fully assembled and finished and some are slot cars, scalectrix racers and such-like of even more limited accuracy and appeal (to me, anyway). I haven't actually built my model Healey yet, and I've a sneaking suspicion that doing so will actually lower the kit's value. Besides, I should be busy doing the work on the real one....
My Models:

Revell Model:
Austin Healey 100-Six (Kit 1217) box & instructions copyright dated 1996. Appears to be molded to a reasonable standard, though the detailing seems a little crude. Bonnet has crease down center. A traditional, all plastic model.

Vitesse Replica:
Austin Healey 100-Six boxed replica. 1/43 scale. Appears to be modeled to a reasonable standard, though the small scale means that few details are visible. Looks nice enough on my bookcase, if you've good eyesight.

DISCLAIMERS:
I do not own, nor have I even SEEN any of the replicas, models or items described below. I do not know ANYTHING more about them than the information provided here. Where there is a link to the manufacturer that may then be explored more appropriately for product information. This information is provided as a public service and I cannot be responsible for product availability or the accuracy of information gathered from the manufacturers, vendors or other sources. Prospective buyers should approach THEM directly and, if possible, actually inspect the items offered for sale. The information presented is not a product endorsement, nor should the links to manufacturers or vendors be taken as an endorsement or recommendation of their product or services. Caveat Emptor. While I've made reasonable efforts to obtain accurate information any items now out of production do not generally provide as much information as ones currently available and supported. This information cannot be taken as either exhaustive or complete, certainly not for old items and not even for current ones given products and even product lines change.

The pictures look nice. Two models available- a convertible and a hardtop both seem to be Mark III 3000s. It appears to be molded to a reasonable standard, though the detailing seems a little crude. The maker is Spanish, I think.
