The Healey mailing list and archive are a veritable treasure trove of information. Joining is free and provides an arena in which questions may be posed and answers from knowledgeable Healey owners, authorities and restorers from all over the world may be found. The mailing list is current while the archives provide background from previous years. Virtually every question imaginable has come up and answers may be found, if not in the archives then from a current discussion that may arise. Scions of Lucas
A general site concerned with LBCs, some good material about Healeys but most concerns other makes and general mechanical/maintenance issues. Particularly useful for electrical issues. Well worth a visit. Fairly static, with few new topics. No ongoing exchange of information.

Panel Doctor
This link now (12/04) seems dormant. I'll see if it stays that way a while before removing it....
A general site concerned with bodywork and automotive refinishing. Well worth visiting. This too is fairly static. Some interchange- the site author lists questions and responses. Canadian.
The Tinman
A general site that discusses metal working. A fair amount of material is specifically related to cars, but other interests (aeronautical) are represented as well.
An Automotive Encyclopedia
A general overview of how automobiles and their various subsystems function. Its pretty basic stuff but useful despite (or maybe because) of that. Straightforward explanations with appropriate and clear diagrams.

Miller's Welding
A US based manufacturer and seller of welding equipment. Seems to be very supportive of the small user. Provides a good website with substantial technical information and support seemingly on offer. Runs an active web forum on welding.
| UK Welder's Forum |
A UK based forum for the discussion of welding. A reasonably active and useful source of information. Browsing is open to anyone, but registration is required to participate.
| Welding Introduction |
An overview of the different methods available for welding. A good, but somewhat dated introduction useful for the complete beginner.

Larry Varley
Describes the restoration of a 100-4 from a basket case through to a very nice example. A fair amount of ancillary information. Australian. Good series of Photos. Recommended!
Chris Dimmock
Describes the life and adventures of a heavily modified and highly competitive 3000. Well worth a visit. Chris participates very actively in the Healey fora and seems very knowledgeable. Also Australian. One of the most effective contributors to the Healey web ring.

Jim Werner
An excellent site with a mix of the author's own contributions and technical contributions from others and links. US. Highly recommended!
| Rick Neves |
A comprehensive site describing the on-going restoration of a 100-4. Lots of pictures but little or no technical verbal content or links, well worth a look though the site seemed a little slow to me....

Healey Slide Shows:
I've found photographic reviews of restorations to be particularly useful.
Larry Varley
As described above- not really a slide show per se, but there are an extensive set of photographs of the restoration of a 100-4 shown. Well worth a look.

Others:

Non-Healey sites, they're here because they've some technical content of potential usefulness. I've been a little disappointed to find that most of the MG, Triumph, Morgan and Jaguar club sites restrict their technical content to club members only. These sites do allow open access by and large.

MGA Guru
Describes the life and adventures of a heavily modified MGA. Well worth a visit. The site provides a very large number of technical articles and is a very useful source of information. US based.
VTR
Vintage Triumph Register. A good site with lots of information. The main benefit to a Healey-phile are its technical pages and links. The upgrade I'll undertake for the front brakes originated here. Also US based.
| Chicagoland MG Club |
A large MG club. It seems very active and provides a fair number and variety of technical articles.
Morgan Technical Topics
These are the technical segments of the Scions of Lucas site for Morgans. A fair amount of the material is more generally useful or interesting, For old British cars all share various problems, if not actually components.

Hot Rodders
My secret aberration, not only do I look at other LBC sites I even sink to looking at what people do with gas-guzzling behemoths in the former colonies. There's really too much information in too many places to keep up with it all, but this site provides an easy entry port to access a large amount of it held on numerous other sites to which it links. A lot of it is specific to particular cars, but a considerable amount is also more generally relevant and worthy of some attention.
